I first entered the corporate world because I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people tick. It’s a curiosity that runs deep, rooted in my South Asian heritage and my parents’ upbringing in Africa. Back then, navigating high-pressure environments, I rarely saw anyone who looked like me. Role models who truly understood my journey were hard to find, and it made unlocking my own potential feel like an uphill battle.
Eventually, I realized the tools and support leaders needed to navigate these complex, cultural dynamics just weren't out there. So, I decided to bridge that gap myself—combining management science with real boardroom experience to become the guide I wish I’d had.
Today, I work as an Executive Coach and Fractional People Director, focusing on what it really takes to build authentic leadership and thriving cultures. My work is backed by time spent in places like Cambridge, Oxford, and London Business School, where I get to test leadership theory against the messy reality of the C-suite. For me, high-performance culture isn’t a soft, fluffy metric—it’s a core discipline.
